Last weekend we went to experience one day in middle aged white village – Zahara de la Sierra. The views from Zahara hill are magnificent and claiming the rock to reach the castle makes a nice walk. During the days of fiesta almost all residents of the village were wearing the middle-aged costumes. Some ladies sell home made cookies, others selling different goods or signing pergaminos like in 1484 when the village gone to Muslims hands. The big pigs ribs were sizzling on the grill and a Moroccan tea was served in the big Moroccan tent. Day full of performance, fun  and  historical presentations – fun for kids and adults. Won´t miss it next year!
